Reef Safe, Coral-Friendly Sunscreen (This is the only type of sunscreen I use at the beach to protect the marine environment!!!)

A: Ocean-friendly, I’ve been using this sunscreen in Semporna. I bought it at a local Watsons. It was quite cheap and comes in a large size! Surprisingly good skin feels and usability (very hydrating and easy to spread), offering broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. I found the same product on Amazon, but the price is much higher than what I paid locally.。

B: Sunscreen mud, recommended for snorkeling and diving. Apply it after putting on your mask, and it won’t smear. The texture is like spreading tough mud on your face, hard to wash off, but very safe for the ocean, still highly recommended. The brand I’m using is SURF YOGIS.

C: Sun Bum Sunscreen Lotion: Ocean-friendly. There’s also a SPF 70 version, but it wasn’t in stock when I was buying, so I got this one instead. It’s very effective against sunburn. I once went to the beach and applied it all over except for my left shoulder and feet, and the unprotected areas got sunburned. Shake well before use to prevent separation of oil and water. The texture is very thin, and it smells amazing! Sweet coconut scent. That’s it! Remember to reapply frequently!!! Reapplying often can greatly prevent tanning.
